Frances Sapere
This is Nicholas' grandma. Fran is 94 year old who lives in Yonkers, NY. She is able to use an Ipad and is on Facebook almost everyday. Fran has high blood pressure and already records her readings everyday. She was a perfect person to take part in this project because it allowed her to learn how to use a different operating system then Apple's iOS. Although Fran already knew how to use a tablet unlike many people her age she still found much difficulty in learning how to usea different one. It took Nicholas several visit and many times of repeating himself to get her to learn the new device. She recorded multiple weeks of data for TeleHealth and the group. Her final words about this project was "Thank god it's over." Although she loves helping out her grandson participating in this project brought her much grief.

James McGuinness
This is James. James is a resident of a Assisted Living place called The Kensington located in White Plains, NY. Originally, James was receiving the help of Nicholas to try to find information about his Irish ancestry on the computer. Nicholas brought up the project he was doing with TeleHealth to James and he was more then happy to participate. James thought this would be a great opportunity for him to learn how to use a tablet in hope that after he can purchase one himself. It was very hard teaching James how to use the the blood pressure machine let alone teaching him how to use the tablet. Nicholas knew it was going to be a difficult task but was up for the challenge. After 3 visits James showed no improvements in learning the tablet & blood pressure machine. He explained to Nicholas that he no longer wants to try to use the technology by himself and would like for Nicholas to take his readings every week. Nicholas explained to him that he can do that but that was not the goal of the project. James said he doesn't want to take part at all then. Nicholas could not force him to do and explained everything to Chris from TeleHealth. James eventually explained to Nicholas that he does not want his help with researching his ancestors either because they were not gathering much information.
Cecilia is a 62 year old retired nurse from Poughkeepsie, New York. She is an immigrant from India and she came to the United States 26 years ago. She is mildly competent with technology and has her own smartphone, and is slightly familiar with the use of desktop computers. She has no major mental or cognitive issues, however she has some physical disabilities including some nerve damage from a spinal injury she had a few years ago. She thoroughly enjoyed learning and using all the technologies offered to her by Vital Care, and she felt more confident in using technology and her own health by the end of the process
Cecilia
Ekrem Brahimi is the person that Val guided towards readings for the blood pressure monitoring. He is 50 years old and works for Hindustan Granites as a sales rep manager. It is a 10 million dollar a year company and he generates 1/3 of it alone every year. He came to the U.S. at 17 years old and worked 2 jobs steadily for a long time. After years of hard work he was able to save money and invest in the real-estate business. Today he is very financially stable and has amounted to a lot ever since coming to the country.
